Uzbekistan Visa
All visitors traveling to Uzbekistan, must obtain visa for Uzbekistan.
Visa type, visa fee, visa procedure, visa extension detail is as under:
Tourist visa is issued by the Uzbekistan Embassy against sponsorship by tourist company registered in Uzbekistan and they are extendible.
Tourist visa can only be extended at the airport till the time of next flight if the individual or group is unable to get the seat and has a confirmed seat for next flight or buys additional tour.
Business visa is issued to individuals and groups against the sponsorship from the inviting company registered in Uzbekistan. Business visa can be extended once through request from the sponsoring company.
Employment visas are issued against invitation from the employee having permission from the labor Ministry in advance.
Transit visa is issued by Uzbekistan Embassy if the traveller has a confirmed ticket for onward fligh. Please check your local directory for the Uzbek Embassy, uzbekistan Diplomatic Mission, or Uzbek Consulate address. On Arrival Visa is issued at Tashkent airport if Uzbek Embassy does not exsist in the citizen's country, but prior approval of visa is required. Ovir Registration It is compulsory for every foreigner to register in the respective ovir with in 72 hours of his arrival in Uzbekistan. Foreigners should always carry the documents confirming their visa and registration. If foreigner is found to have broken the local laws regarding immigration and stay in Uzbekistan he can be fined or deported.
